HIERARCHY CONFIGURATION

When the hierarchy is enabled on your account, you are able to configure the following levels from top to bottom:

  • Service provider

  • Enterprise 

  • Domain

  • Tenant

Service provider

  1. Select the Service Provider tab.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter the following information:

    • Name - Name of this service provider.

    • Enable Whitelabel - Whitelabel settings are enabled at the account level. If turned on, the service provider inherits the account-level whitelabel settings. See Whitelabel settings guide for more details.

    • Maximum devices - The desired limit of number of devices for this service provider. If left empty, there is no limit.

    • Account number - Internal reference number (optional).

    • Force Provisioning Plus - When this is enabled, all the newly added devices under this service provider are forced to Provisioning Plus. See Provisioning plus guide for more information.

  4. Click Continue to save.

Enterprise

  1. Select the Enterprises tab.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter the following information:

  • Name - Name of the enterprise. 

  • Account number - Internal reference number (optional).

  1. Click Continue to save.

Domains

  1. Select the Domains tab.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter the Name of the domain. 

  4. Click Continue to save.

Tenants

  1. Select the Tenants tab.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter the necessary information.

EXAMPLES

Hierarchy organized by region

Awesome VoIP Company manages the phones for Pizza Pizza. They have created a hierarchy for Pizza Pizza based on the franchise type at the Enterprise level and then the regions of the stores at the Domain level, followed by the individual locations at the Tenant level.

As you can see below, Awesome VoIP Company manages additional customers at the Service Provider level. The hierarchy can be customized to meet the requirements and complexities of different customer types.
