Setup Redirect Service
To enable Phonism to provision and manage your devices, you need to direct them to Phonism's provisioning server. The simplest way to do this is by using the Redirect Services provided by manufacturers. Instead of manually logging into each manufacturer's portal, you can leverage Phonism's integrations. Just input your credentials for each manufacturer into Phonism, and we'll handle the rest.
Once you've entered your Redirect Service credentials, new devices and factory-reset devices will automatically connect to Phonism when they boot up.
Steps To Enable Redirect Services
Navigate to the "Account" tab and then to the "Redirect Services" sub-tab
Input your username/password for each of the device manufacturers you work with
Click Save
There is no cost to having a redirect services account with each of the manufacturers. If you do not already have one, simply reach out to your vendor and follow instructions to create an account and receive your credentials.
Be Conscious of Security
While there's no immediate requirement to enable security settings, it's important to note their availability. During testing and platform familiarization, there's no urgency to enable them. However, as you transition to production or add all your MAC addresses to the system, we highly recommend exploring our Security articles and utilizing features like Whitelisting IPs or Provisioning Credentials.
