VoIP Credentials
Add VoIP Credentials to each tenant either one-by-one or in bulk.
Â
VoIP Credentials are the username and password information used to register the device with the call or voice server. VoIP credentials are assigned to each extension and must be added to the phone configuration, so that the phone can use that extension from the call server. You can add VoIP credentials manually per device or through a bulk import.Â
Note: In some cases, Phonism can integrate directly with the switch (i.e. Broadsoft or FreeSwitch), and the credentials are automatically populated in the phonism tenant.
For security reasons, VoIP Credentials are tenant-specific and not available to devices outside of the tenant that the device belongs to. Credentials must be entered for each tenant.Â
