With shared lines, calls made to one phone number can be answered by multiple phones. A phone registers a SIP line using a single credential set that is shared across multiple devices or a unique set of credentials per device. The shared appearance and call routing is handled by the SIP server.

For this example we are configuring a Poly VVX 500 to register Line 2 as a shared line using a previously configured, shared line capable VoIP credential set.

Edit the phone's configuration and navigate to Line 2.
Select the correct VoIP Credentials.
Set the Type to Shared.

Select Line Keys.
Configure Line Key 2 > Category as Line and set the Index to 2.
Save your configuration and provision the device.
