Yealink DECT Management
DECT Management in Phonism
Phonism manages DECT basestations like the W52B, W60B, and W70B (Check our Supported Endpoints page for the most up-to-date list of supported endpoints). Configuration of handsets (like the W56H, W76P, W59R) is managed through the basestation. Products are typically sold in pairs with a single SKU that contains multiple products within it. For example, a W53P includes a W60B basestation and W53H handset.
If Phonism supports your basestation and the basestation supports your DECT handset, we can manage your Yealink DECT system. Refer to Yealink’s documentation for more information on basestation and handset compatibility.
Handsets and repeater registration cannot be done via provisioning and must be done on the the devices. However, you can manage handset firmware and attributes about registered handsets like it’s name, and incoming and outgoing lines. Below you will find guides on pairing handsets and repeaters.
Registering Handsets with Basestations
Easy Handset Registration
Hold the CONNECT button on the base until the top-most light starts blinking indicating it is in a paring mode
On the handset, there should be a button on the bottom left of the screen labeled

, select that to pair to the basestation
Normal Registration
When the handset LCD screen prompts “Press base paging 2s then press Reg.” , long press the Wireless button User-added image on the base station until the registration LED flashes.
Press the OK soft key on the handset.
Select Register Handset .
Select the desired base and then press the OK soft key. The handset begins searching the base.
Press the OK soft key after searching a base successfully.
Enter the base PIN (default: 0000), and then press the Done soft key to complete registration.
NOTE: You can also press the OK key to enter the main menu, and then select Settings > Registration > Register Handset and repeat steps 2-4 to register multiple base stations.
After the success of registration, the handset LCD screen prompts “Handset Subscribed” and “Base NO. (The last 4 characters of connected Base’s MAC address)”. If the handset LCD screen prompts “Searching for Base”, please check if your base station is powered on.
Registering a Repeater
If you want to register more than one repeater, in order to avoid ID conflict, we recommend that you put the repeaters closer to the base station and register the repeaters one by one.
Plug the repeater into a power outlet. The Power LED will turn green and the DECT LED will flash red.
Set the handset into RT30 Repeater Mode by going to "Settings→ System → Settings → Repeater Mode".
Set the base station in registration mode by long pressing the paging key on the base station until the first LED flashes green.
If the base station is found, the DECT LED will flash orange. When the DECT LED turns green/orange, the registration to the base station has been successful.
ID Modification
If you want to register more than one repeater, in order to avoid ID conflict, we recommend that you put the repeaters closer to the base station and register the repeaters one by one.
Press the program key to confirm the ID.
Long press the program key for around 7 seconds to enter the ID modification mode. When in ID modification mode, both the Power and DECT LEDs turn red.
