Operations That Affect Broadworks

The following operations will result in corresponding changes in Broadworks.

Hierarchy

• Company Created

  • Result: A corresponding Broadworks Entity created in Broadworks.

• Company Deleted

  • Result: Corresponding entity in Broadworks is deleted.
    
    

• Tenant Created

  • Result: (Optional) A new Department will be created in Broadworks.

• Tenant Delete

  • Result: Corresponding entity in Broadworks is deleted.

• Tenant Updated

  • Result: If “Create New Department” is checked, a Department will be created from this Tenant in Broadworks.
    
    

Phones

• Phone Added

  • Result: New Device created in Broadworks at the corresponding Group and Department (if applicable).
    
    

• Phone Deleted

  • Result: Device will be deleted from Broadworks.

• Migrate

  • Result: Configuration on Broadworks for the related Device is modified to redirect the Device for provisioning.

• Reboot

  • Result: A reset request is sent to Broadworks for the given device.

Users

• User Created

  • Result: New User is created in Broadworks at the corresponding Group.

• User Deleted

  • Result: User will be deleted from Broadworks.

• User Password Changed

  • Result: User password will be changed in Broadworks.

VoIP Credentials

• VoIP Credentials Updated

  • Result: If the VoIP Credentials correspond to a Broadworks User, the Broadworks User’s voice Authentication credentials will be updated in Broadworks. We will attempt to enable the Authentication service for the given User if it is not assigned.

• VoIP Credentials Assigned to User

  • Result: The assigned User (and Broadworks User) will have their voice Authentication credentials updated in Broadworks. We will attempt to enable the Authentication service for the given User if it is not assigned.
