Shared Call Appearance Support

  • Phonism can automatically assign Users to Shared Call Appearance endpoints in Broadworks when the voice line is configured as “Shared” or “Shared Call Appearance”.

  • This works two-ways, Phonism will automatically configure device line type to “Shared” or “Shared Call Appearance” if configured in Broadworks.

Enable Shared Call Appearance Management

Contact Support to have Shared Call Appearance feature enabled for your account

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page where you setup your Broadworks account in Phonism

  2. Edit the integration and toggle ON “Manage Shared Call Appearance”

  3. (Optional) Check SCA Sub Settings as desired (see behavior changes below)

  4. Click Continue

Configure a line for a Broadworks User and set the line type to “Shared” or “Shared Call Appearance”

If the Shared Call Appearance service pack is enabled, the User will be assigned a new Shared Call Appearance Endpoint in Broadworks

A Broadworks User is unassigned from a line OR the line type is changed to “Private”

The Shared Call Appearance Endpoint will be removed from the User in Broadworks

Odin Webhook received identifying a new User being assigned a Shared Call Appearance Endpoint

The next available line on that Phone will be configured for that User and the line type “Shared” or “Shared Call Appearance”

 

linePort as UserId

When this setting is enabled Phonism will overwrite the User Id with the linePort of the corresponding SCA User Information provided by using Custom Config.
