Import and Synchronize Data from Broadworks
Hierarchy
Your Broadworks hierarchy will be cloned automatically shortly after Support sets up your integration.
Broadworks is polled periodically for changes. Changes to the hierarchy in Broadworks will be reflected on next sync.
When you don’t have a Department within your Broadworks Group, all Groups will have a default Tenant created and assigned to it.
If departments are available or created in the future, new Tenants and assets that belong to it will be created and mapped accordingly.
Existing Broadworks Users
Your Broadworks Users will automatically be imported and created as new Users in our system. We maintain a mapping between our Users and your Broadworks Users.
Imported Users will be stored at the corresponding level of your Broadworks Hierarchy.
Broadworks User Authentication credentials are imported during the Device Migration process.
Setup a new Broadworks User
Create a User. This will create a corresponding User in Broadworks.
Create (or assign an existing) VoIP Credential record to the desired User.
This will enable the Authentication service for the corresponding Broadworks User and set their Authentication credentials.
Provision a device with the desired VoIP Credential record as you normally would.

Manual Data Synchronization
By default, the system is periodically refreshing data from Broadworks for the assets throughout your hierarchy. However, sometimes you want to manually trigger a sync.
Full Hierarchy
Navigate in your Hierarchy to your Broadworks Integration and select the Sync button to initiate a complete synchronization from Broadworks across your entire Hierarchy.
Specific Service Providers, Groups, or Domains
Navigate to the specific node in your hierarchy you want to sync. Once there, click Sync Now at in the banner to initiate a sync job for all assets within this node of your hierarchy.
